Nadeen

The Fabric Census

We read the fabric label on 5,222 garments across 32 brands, straight from each brand's own product pages. This is who actually uses natural fibers, and who mostly sells plastic. Higher is more natural.

How this works. Every item on Nadeen carries the fiber composition published on its own product page. A garment's natural share is the percentage of its composition that is not polyester, nylon, acrylic, acetate, polyurethane or elastane. A brand's score is the average across every one of its items we index. One honest caveat: we can only index garments whose composition a brand publishes, so a brand that discloses fabric on some items and stays quiet on the rest is scored only on what it discloses. Scores reflect only the items in our catalog, updated weekly, and small samples are marked. Last updated August 12, 2026.
