Fabrics by Nadeen ("we", "us") is a shopping discovery site at nadeenfabrics.com that lets you browse clothing by fabric composition. This page explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain English.

What we collect

Account info: if you create an account, we store your name, username, email, birthday, and a securely hashed version of your password (we can never see the password itself).
Preferences: the fabrics you love, the fabrics you avoid, your sizes, and the items you save.
Waitlist and requests: your email if you join the notify list, and any brand requests you send (with your account or email attached so we can follow up).
Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregate statistics about how the site is used (which filters get clicked, page views). No advertising trackers.

How we use it

To run the site: your account, saved items, and preferences exist so the product works and syncs across your devices.
To personalize your feed based on the fabrics you chose.
To email you things you asked for: password resets, and store updates if you joined the notify list. You can unsubscribe any time.
To decide which stores and features to add next, using aggregate usage patterns and brand requests.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information with the retailers listed on the site.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and signup requires being 13 or older.

Where your data lives

Account data is stored with Supabase and the site is hosted on Vercel, both in the United States. Your saved items and settings are also cached in your own browser so the site loads fast.

Product links

Every item links to the retailer's own website. Once you leave our site, the retailer's privacy policy applies. Some outbound links may become affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy; this never changes your price.

Your choices

Edit your fabric preferences and sizes any time from your profile.
Sign out to stop syncing on a device.
To delete your account and all its data, email us at hello@nadeenfabrics.com and we will remove it.

Browser Extension

The Nadeen browser extension reads the text of retail product pages you visit to detect the garment's fabric composition, entirely on your device. The extension does not transmit your browsing activity, the pages you visit, or the compositions it detects to Nadeen or to anyone else. Items you choose to save with the extension are stored locally in your browser and can be removed at any time from the extension popup. When you open the Nadeen panel, the extension fetches our public catalog file from nadeenfabrics.com so it can suggest alternatives; that request is made by the extension itself and does not identify the page or product you are viewing. The extension sets no cookies and contains no analytics or trackers. Links from the extension to nadeenfabrics.com carry only a source tag so we know a visit came from the extension.

What this site is: a discovery tool. We show clothing from third-party retailers with their published fabric composition, prices, and images, and link you to the retailer to buy. We are not the seller and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the brands shown.
Accuracy: fabric details and prices come from the retailers and can change or sell out after we index them. Always confirm details on the retailer's product page before buying.
Your account: keep your password to yourself and use accurate information. You must be at least 13 to sign up. We may remove accounts that abuse the service.
Acceptable use: no scraping, spamming the forms, or attempting to access other users' data.
No warranty: the service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to $0; purchases are between you and the retailer.
Changes: we may update these terms and this policy as the product evolves; the date above reflects the latest version.
